Bio

Before starting her own graphic design firm, Barbara worked at William Morrow Publishers, designing trade book jackets, as well as at NBC, designing computer graphics for NBC Nightly News and the Today Show. She has been in business, first in New York and now in New Jersey, for over 30 years, providing graphic design services for a variety of clients in healthcare, the arts, municipalities, education and financial services. Impactful branding and creative typography are her passion. Also she does ceramics and is currently working on an extensive clay-based project related to typography and communication.

Barbara teaches graphic design at Fairleigh Dickinson University and has taught at County College of Morris and Sussex County Community College. She is a former board member of the Art Director’s Club of New Jersey and currently co-chairs the Sustainability Committee of New Providence. She has a BA in French language and literature from University of Michigan and an MS in graphics and communication design from Pratt Institute.
